Are disabled and/ or older people among your primary customer groups? If so would you like the chance to demonstrate to them that your services are being provided by individuals with the appropriate knowledge and experience?
If the answer to either of thoes questions is yes, then CredAbility is for you.
Credability has been designed by disabled and older people to enable providers to prove that their services are competent and compliant - whether that service is paid or free.
CredAbility for providers of goods and services:

• An endorsement of your hard work and professionalism
• Demonstrate your commitment to quality assurance and professional development
• Demonstrate your proactive commitment to disability and the social care market by displaying the CredAbility Charter
• Upgraded placement on the Do What You Want directory
The Process
Becoming accredited is basically a very simple process - we have a form which takes about 20 - 30 minutes to complete and you need to provide a few bits of information like CRB Checks, policies and procedures etc.
The Cost
Attention: If you are delivering services in Derby your accreditation costs are being subsidised for a limited time by Derby City Council.
Initial Accreditation (paper-based)* £100
Yearly Renewal (paper-based)* £75
*Accreditation and renewal site visits can be arranged, fee given on application
After you are accredited we have an annaul quality assurance sysmtem which allows for us to identify strengths and weaknesses and make sure disabled people are getting the best service possible.
